Before opening his own brokerage he was a perennial top producer for Coldwell Banker from 1998 to 2008, consistently ranking among the top 1% of agents in the nation.
In 2007 The John Jones Team was ranked 43rd in the country and #1 in the state of Tennessee in units sold by The Wall Street Journal. Additionally, in 2005, John was recognized as one of the top real estate professionals in North America when he was named a STAR POWER "STAR".
In October of 2008 John realized his vision of a small boutique real estate firm that offers the best in customer service, market knowledge, wealth building opportunities, and innovative techniques that get homes sold.
A real estate innovator both locally and nationally, John is one of the first agents here to utilize a support staff that includes an Office Manager, Closing Coordinator, Operations Manager, Listing Coordinator, Marketing and Technology Consultant, and four full-time Sales Consultants.
An ardent football fan, John volunteers as a coach at Providence Christian Academy, as well as assisting with the Annual Kelly Holcomb Football Clinic. John was recently honored as one of the first inductees in the Riverdale High School Hall of Fame.
He has been married to his wife Tracy for more than 16 years, and has four children, Jack 14, Pruitt 13, Liza Jane 11, and Mary Margaret 7.
In addition to being a leader in the real estate industry and dedicated father, John also serves on the board of the Murfreesboro Housing Authority and as treasurer for the Oakland Endzone Club.

Not only is she John’s right hand but she also manages the office. Michele’s responsibilities include handling all accounting for all of John's different ventures (residential and commercial real estate as well as development and rental properties) and planning all of our Client Appreciation Events.
Michele obtained her real estate license in July of 2001 so she could do even more to help out John and the team when needed. Michele moved here approximately 12 years ago from Oklahoma where she started as the Office Manager for an oil and gas company and ended the 8 year stint as vice president. Michele is married to Doug and has two sons, Tyler St. John 18, and Trevor St. John 11 and 2 step-children, Grant 21, and Milly 19. The Buffords are members of Fellowship United Methodist Church.
In November of 2009 Michele started a non-profit chapter of SERTOMA and currently serves as president of the local organization.

Additionally, Joe has provided consulting services for many top residential real estate teams across North America.
As Managing Broker Joe oversees the team’s day-to-day operations, creates and refines systems, and works directly with John on marketing and new business development. Joe also directly handles all of our short sales and H.U.D. properties. He has co-authored a pair of real estate books, Sell It Yourself (Adams Media), and Real Wealth by Investing in Real Estate (Prentice Hall).
Joe has been honored as the first "assistant" ever to be named a STAR POWER STAR. He was also the first Certified Distressed Property Expert in middle Tennessee. He has since become middle Tennessee's foremost expert on the foreclosure process and is frequently featured in the local press, speaking on issues related to foreclosure, short sales and distressed properties in general.
Joe lives in Murfreesboro with his wife Ruth and they attend World Outreach Church.

Short Sales require lots of time and careful attention to ensure a smooth process for everyone involved. Hope makes calls to the bank and collects documents that the bank requires. She also stays in contact with the seller to make sure they are always up to speed on any progress being made with the bank.HUD Assignments are time sensitive, so when Joe needs help Hope steps in to make sure the job is done, from inspections to loading documents into the system.As Joe's assistant, Hope does a number of things to ensure Joe can work without having to worry about the small things, including entering foreclosure sales into our system and making sure Joe has everything he needs to go to the sales.
